The RGBA Experience for 10 members, train like a pro for 5 weeks, eat, train, sleep, repeat.

This is the end of week three for the 1st members class at the RGBA Experience training camp in Riverside, CA. I’ve done some mini training videos on each individual and it’s helping me push myself in the field of editing. I’ve uploaded them to my YouTube page. One videographer I’ve always admired is Albert Baker of Under the Hand Wraps. The way he shoots and edits his videos really captures you and tells a story of the fighter. I’m going to list the fighters that are at the gym right now, in no particular order.

SuperMiddleweight: Bruno Pola

Welterweight: Sylvester Quiñonez

Super Bantamweight: Angel Avila Orozco

Lightweight: Agustin Vasquez

Welterweight: Seth Vasquez

Heavyweight: Diego Perez

Junior Middleweight: Jose Camacho

Christian Bonifacio

Sebastian Bencomo

Angel Mora

This is the first class of it’s kind to have the opportunity to train with Robert Garcia and his trainers in this type of setting. Robert shared that his schedule for November was not very full and he wanted to take advantage to try this 5 week, “train like the pro’s camp” for 10 lucky participants. Bruno Pola is from Mexico. Angel Avila, Sylvester Quiñonez, Seth Vasquez and Jose Camacho are all from Texas. Angel Mora is from Arizona. Diego is from Colorado. Sebastian is from Arizona and Christiana and Agustin are from California. It has been interesting covering the fighters and their camp. All of them had the opportunity to meet pro fighters Bam Rodriguez, Esquiva Falcåo, Alexis Espino, Arturo Cardenas, Erik Aguirre, Efren Aguirre, Azat Hovyannisan, Manny Rodriguez and Ruben Rodriguez. I don’t know how often Robert will have this opportunity to host this type of training camp. He is one of the busiest gyms in the world with over 30 pro fighters and dozens of amateurs that train in the afternoons.

I will not have the opportunity to be back there until after Thanksgiving. That will be their fifth and final week of camp.

If you get a chance please check out some of the footage I’ve taken on my YouTube channel, Sonteo Media.
